Blackhorse Lane beer hall Big Penny Social is set to put on a women’s wrestling and cabaret night combo every first Friday of the month starting in March.

EVE: Riot Grrrls of Wrestling is set to come back on the 8th of March with a punk, pro-wrestling and comedic show all rolled into one.

In celebration of International Women’s Day, fans can also look forward to an additional show in March as on Thursday 7th, Beers, Brawls and Bad-Ass B*****s will be on show in November 25th.

The show is building on the female wrestling scene in America (including WWE and Women of Wrestling – WOW) and the success of shows like GLOW and the film Fighting with my Family.

Big Penny Social promises a cast of “eye-catching characters” and “astounding feats of athleticism combined with humour and theatrics” while the show will have “one foot in the glory days of wrestling of the past, but another firmly in the future where equality and inclusivity reign supreme”.

Tickets for the Friday 8th March show, which is 18+ only, are available here, and tickets for the Thursday 7th March show can be snapped up using this link
