FOUNDRY, the boutique co-working space, has announced the opening of its first cocktail bar, Harry’s by FOUNDRY in Walthamstow.

Opening its doors on Thursday 16th November, the 15,000 square feet co-working space will transform into a beautiful cocktail bar between 5pm – 11pm Wednesday to Sunday. With unrivalled views of the iconic Wetlands and City of London, the exciting new bar will offer Friends of FOUNDRY a delicious array of seasonal cocktails, charcuterie and cheese boards.

Taking its name from Walthamstow local and key member of the FOUNDRY team, Harry Adams, the new cocktail bar is a homage to his hard work and enthusiasm. Harry will join FOUNDRY Walthamstow as Bar Manager and has spent hours scouring the best food and drink the local area has to offer to curate the bar’s exciting new menu.

To enjoy the space, interested individuals must register as a Friend of FOUNDRY via the FOUNDRY website. The membership is free, and will give individuals access to the cocktail bar as well as invites to exclusive events, product launches and more. Once an individual’s membership has been approved, new members will be sent a keycard giving them access to Harry’s by FOUNDRY.

Adam Walker, FOUNDRY Co-Founder commented: “We are delighted to be opening our first cocktail bar in Walthamstow. It’s a fantastic spot for the local community to come together and enjoy a drink or two with friends and family. With beautiful views of the city and surrounding wildlife we’re certain Harry’s by FOUNDRY will become a very popular spot”.

Harry Adams, Bar Manager at Harry’s By FOUNDRY added: “It’s a huge honour to be joining Harry’s by FOUNDRY as Bar Manager – especially after the cocktail bar is named after me. I’ve put a lot of time into designing the space so I’m really excited to welcome guests to the venue to see what they think. I also can’t wait to get to know more Walthamstow locals and work with London-based producers to incorporate more local produce into the menu.”

Inspired by the area’s rich history of innovators, FOUNDRY Walthamstow is a unique co-working space for local creatives, startups and established businesses. Offering several different memberships, FOUNDRY Walthamstow is designed to help members do their best work.

From £145 per month, the ‘Coworking Lounge’ membership will give members access to FOUNDRY’s boutique lounge featuring hot desking spaces and private phone booths. The ‘Dedicated Desk’ membership will provide workers access to a designated desk, and a limited number of private offices. All memberships encourage members to host events, network and invite guests to enjoy the space and bounce ideas around.

FOUNDRY will also be home to four local health and beauty businesses including the popular barber shop Cove17 as well as a physiotherapist, aesthetics and dog groomers.
