Please keep an eye out for Sydney Piper, a 68-year-old from the borough

Police have issued an urgent appeal for help to find a vulnerable elderly man who went missing last week.

Sydney Piper, 68, was last seen in The Drive in Walthamstow shortly before noon on Thursday, 23rd February.

He is a 5’7″ man with a slim build, a grey beard and black hair. He was last seen wearing a long black coat, grey t-shirt, grey trousers and black slippers.

Officers are increasingly concerned for his welfare, as he is believed to have disappeared without money or an Oyster card.

Anyone who has seen Sydney is asked to call police via 101 quoting reference CAD 4957/24Feb.
