The cause of the fire has been recorded as “undetermined”

An explosive shed fire this weekend damaged a number of homes and gardens in a quiet Walthamstow street.
The London Fire Brigade received 27 calls to the fire in York Road on Saturday afternoon, which took just under two hours and around 25 firefighters to get under control.
The shed in question was destroyed by the fire and a number of surrounding gardens, a neighbouring extension and another property’s shed were damaged.
A number of surrounding homes also suffered damage to their external walls, although thankfully there were no reports of any people injured.
Firefighters cooled and removed a gas canister involved in the incident, although the official cause has been recorded as “undetermined”, according to the LFB.
