A Walthamstow cocaine dealer who took photos of himself with piles of illicit cash has been sentenced to eight and a half years in prison.

Dene Nutt, from Eastleigh Road, was arrested during a police raid in Yew Tree Gardens, Romford, on 16th July.

Police were led to him by “encrypted data recovered as part of a wider operation”, which uncovered evidence of him dealing drugs and bragging about his enormous earnings.

A search of the building revealed a locked safe containing £36,335 in cash and a luxury watch valued at more than £13,000.

Nutt pleaded guilty to dealing cocaine and cannabis and was sentenced on 13th December.
