Three charged after Leyton man stabbed to death

Two men now stand accused of helping the suspected killer of a Leyton man.

On 21st September, police were called to reports of a street fight in East Ferry Road on the Isle of Dogs and discovered Mohamed Ensser bleeding to death.

Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the Leyton 33-year-old died at the scene shortly before 9pm.

Police have now charged three men - all from Tower Hamlets - for crimes connected to the death and are holding them in custody until their next court date.

Kwabena Boateng, a 20-year-old from Dod Street in Poplar, is accused of murder and will appear at the Old Bailey in February next year.

A 22-year-old, also from Dod Street, named Ibrahim Taher and 64-year-old Kenneth McCreaner, from nearby Hutchins Street, are both accused of "assisting an offender"

They are both due to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on 10th December.
