Albert Carter Phillips is a photographer based in Walthamstow.

He told the Echo: “I only really take photos of Walthamstow. I’ve tried taking photos like these in other places that I visit but it just doesn’t interest me, I don’t have the same inspiration as when I walk around the streets and areas that I already know.

“Looking at buildings I’ve seen my whole life intrigues me more because, if you look at them enough times, you start to see different things or see them in a different way. These photos are meant to show that: something you walk past every day and don’t notice can be interesting, if you want to see it.”
