Inspired by Jack Barnes’ doorstep portrait project, I wanted to take photos of Highams Park slowly coming back to life. Now that the lockdown is a bit more relaxed and some shops are allowed to reopen to the public friendly faces can be seen back in the streets. I felt that supporting our local shops would be a good way to help rebuild the community’s confidence at this time. The pandemic has affected lots of families in need, so I am using this photo project as an opportunity to help Haven House Children’s Hospice to continue its wonderful work.
